"Perfect is as perfect shows."

Perception. This is one of the strongest words today. Like when we talk about how the world is, we never understand that it is exactly as how we perceive it. To make our lives a much better, all we need to do is change that point of view by tilting it a little and focus our energies in the right place. I won't be the best person to tell or discuss how or where to focus your energies but I can tell you something about perception.  The first step to all of this is acceptance : Understand one thing and one thing which will always be there. Life is unfair. Once you accept this fact, you'll be a little clear on things like " Nothing will ever come easy to you". You will atleast stop repeating the fact that its unfair and smile at whatever happens, feeling that you knew it. Ambition: Be ambitious as hell. This doesn't mean that you will go crazy, no. That's over ambition but just simple plain ambition towards either your goal, the goal which you want t

With love from, Your Charlie.

I never knew her that well, Never really tried too, Whatever happened, Was maybe just written somewhere, We were not really friends, We were just two souls, Two people maybe, Living their lives quite apart, Different goals,  Different outlooks, Afraid of somethings, And proud of the others, In our parallel universes, We made our own mistakes, None so connected, No one to understand, We were different, We were apart. But there was this one thing, Which always used to flow between us, There was this openness, Which was warm, Even without knowing her, I knew her somewhat, Even without searching for anything, I found out a lot, We connected and it became stronger, We had our people's in our lives, Our parallel universes ran, Just parallel to eachother, Never affecting one, Never affecting the other, We still were a part of the whole, But the whole wasn't a part of us. We got close, And we felt the warmth,

The Startup Syndrome (Internet)

Disclaimer: This article is not to discourage or malign the ongoing internet based companies or startups. It is an opinion.  'Startup' should actually be the word of this decade. Since the start of this millenia we have seen a new buzz in the youth allover, 'Startup'. With companies ready to invest in ideas which might revolutionize the world and get them some good returns. But we've experienced the biggest wave of these after the current decade started. With the success of ongoing startups as inspiration, more and more individuals and group decided to try their hand at starting something of their own.  "Who wants to work under a boss, when you can be your own boss?" this was what I always heard from some budding entrepreneurs. Some are doing it for the drive, some for the passion, some for the adrenaline rush and some are just doing it because they want to discover. Now out of all of these startups a huge majority is inclined towards one

Fear.

When you have fear in your mind, Your heart beats faster, The sound is so profound, That your mind clouds further, Your judgement impaired, Just that simple fear in your head, Fear of making it to the cut, Fear of doing it right, Fear of regretting your entire life, Fear of the result of your actions, and the surprise, We work hard sometimes, At other times we don't, We know we might fail, Just because we left a single nail, That nail which we could have knocked in, Which would have made your ship, Secured and a delight, But you couldn't do it, Because you were tired and it was night, You closed all your books, Put your tools aside, Reached out to your bed, And the comfort overcame the plight, This one thing that you're preparing for, If not the only, But is important for your life, But its not just your life that you think about, Its the others whose joys may subside, subside just because of you, Because of the nail you didn't strike,

InterNet- BarterNet?

I was just writing another article but I realized that this piece is more important than the next one which I was about to. So, here I am. Have you ever realized that you rely too much on your mobile phonebook? Or too much on Google for everything? I mean everything we need is just a few keys and a click away. So why should we remember anything? This is what has made our lives so disoriented and convenient at the same time. We put down numbers on speed dial because we feel that while we’re hit by a car we can hit that one button and have someone informed and for that we stop remembering numbers. We stop making our projects because we know that someone else would have made it somewhere and we can just 'download' it. My question is, that is it good? Is not remembering all of this good? Because the way I see it what’s actually happening is that we’re not remembering things that we’re supposed to and this is leading to a containment of our brains and its usage. The wor

Would that be right?

For all our lives, we've waited. Waited for a moment that would change everything. We somewhere deep down inside know that it isn't happening but we let that bit of feeling go. Just to make us feel better. Is life about making ourselves feel better? Or is it about fighting to make ourselves feel better? Is it about the wars that we fight, the throats we slash? Or the smiles we spread around, the evenings we enjoy? Life is the reality of all fiction and the morals are just our way of confining our lives. Our rules, our regulations are just our further attempt to control everything. To decide what is right and what is wrong. And mind you, this debate on 'right and wrong' has been on since the humans have existed, the second a primitive early human decided to get food for his child, it was decided to be good and hence has ever been established and acclaimed.  I am not going against the idea of what is right and wrong, nor am I justifying any heinous act. All I am q

Democracy- The sweet poison.

Democracy, the tool which enabled the people to choose what they wanted. A tool which enabled them to choose a leader amongst themselves, who would understand what they need and take up a position of power to meet those needs. It’s more like one of those dialogues from the movies, “One man shall rise, to end this all. To make things better, to give us what we need, our freedom, our rights and will fight our fight.” This is what democracy was supposed to do but right now, I really don’t see that happening. Democracy has become this tool, this image of utopia. A concept which shows the people a beautiful picture, where each man is free. No shackles, no restraints, do what you want to do. But that barely happens. What’s happening now is that Democracy actually binds us tightly to the immovable stones of “mass belief”. Simple example, Russian President Mr. Vladmir Putin just signed this ‘Anti-Gay Law’. Being a democracy, they’re actually robbing a person of choosing a partner to

NaMo ya na NaMo?

‘Namonitis’  that’s what the congress called the new virus which has taken over the Bhartiya Janta Party. With the Bhariya Janta Party which claimed itself to be ‘A party with a difference’ is not coming out to be a ‘ Party with differences’, it seems like a rough patch for them the next year. With differences in the different strata of the internal structures of the party, the BJP fails to come up with a prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 elections. Eleven months is all they have now to come up with a leader who could turn the rein of the UPA which has lasted for a decade now. Narendra Modi (Namo) is now the one of the most popular candidate from the BJP’s point of view. ‘A visionary leader who has taken Gujrat to its heights’ but excuse me? Wasn’t Gujrat already a ‘developed state’ because that’s what LK Advani said questioning NaMo’s potential. The senior leaders of the BJP have not commented on what they want but it is evident that NaMonitis hasn’t caught them in

Shades of red, blue and white.

When the moon is going down but you still can’t see the sun, All you can see is the faded light, Near the horizon, At the corner of the sea, From your window you look, You see the bright sun coming up between the clouds, Behind those tiny hills on the islands that you see, Just like a painting which we used to make in nursery, You watch the sky, Change shades of red, blue and white, Some clouds come in the way, Stopping the sun rays, From reaching out to you, But you still keep the stare, Then the sun comes up again, From behind the clouds which dimmed its light, It comes and shimmers bright.

Mumblings and rumblings.

When you start your day, you wake up and think what's gonna be new or that should be the thought but you wake up to the fear of getting late for college. While you run to your college, you slow down to check out some girl or pass a smile to the other or just say hi to some other and end up reaching late stressing your breath. Like is fun this ways and maybe should remain this simple always. Wake up, do what you want to and then go back to bed (in time (with some company preferably)) but hey hey hey! Life isn't that simple and it never will be, it will remain that same piece of crap that we try and live through each day. I don't mean that my life is bad and has no story to it. What I mean is that hey? Where’s the fun? I see these mechanical movements all throughout this campus travel in that I live in, the buses that I travel in, the shops that I vist. Everyone is just so mechanical, everyone is like this mouse which is given the key click clack cloock and that's how

Choices, Questions and Answers.

Life is this infinite loop of choices, questions and answers. Choices which you take define you, make you what you are and distinguish you from others. Others here refers to the other inhabitants of this world who also might have chosen that same path which you chose at one point or are choosing right now. Sometimes choices are made under pressure and we keep giving excuses like "I didn't have a choice" but all of us need to understand that even if you didn't have a choice, you did make one eventually. You chose the path which you thought is the 'most convenient  at that very point. So, now if you've made that choice then take responsibility for it. One of my friends told me this and I tell this to everyone and to myself that never 'regret'. Never ever should you be crying over the choices you made which might've played a role in get  you to wherever you are. Questions are infine themselves. If we go into that chain of thought we can create

Abstract.

“And is there meaning to your life when you’re sleeping while you’re still wide awake.” He said that and that were the last time he said anything. My grandfather closed his eyes there and leaving me alone in that house which he had made home. My grandfather was a carpenter when he married grandma. They had their first kid in the second year of their marriage and my father in their third. My father had three siblings out of which the eldest one died in a fire in one of my granddad’s godowns. My granddad with time, had constructed a fortune out of his small business which he started while he was fixing sofas for someone.   Starting as a handy man and walking from door to door to fix everything in less than two years he had started off his own small venture where he and four other people under him became the supplier of all the wood and furniture in Nevilain. I don’t know how he did it but damn it was brilliant. In the next two he had ended up with four showrooms in the area and t
