"Perfect is as perfect shows."

Perception.

This is one of the strongest words today. Like when we talk about how the world is, we never understand that it is exactly as how we perceive it. To make our lives a much better, all we need to do is change that point of view by tilting it a little and focus our energies in the right place. I won't be the best person to tell or discuss how or where to focus your energies but I can tell you something about perception.

The first step to all of this is acceptance:
Understand one thing and one thing which will always be there. Life is unfair. Once you accept this fact, you'll be a little clear on things like "Nothing will ever come easy to you". You will atleast stop repeating the fact that its unfair and smile at whatever happens, feeling that you knew it.

Ambition:
Be ambitious as hell. This doesn't mean that you will go crazy, no. That's over ambition but just simple plain ambition towards either your goal, the goal which you want to achieve. It can be something objective as being a pioneer in some field or be as subjective as being rich or being successful.  Whatever it is, sort it out and be and move forward.

Work Harder:
Now that you know that life isn't fair and never will be start working harder coz hey, you are ambitious anyway. You have to achieve what you've been wanting. So start working harder. Give in more. Go over the line. Cross it and do more. Just do enough to not let anyone stand there and be a competition. Don't do it to eliminate competition, no. That's again a seed to negativity. Do it because you want to.

Break the acceptance:
Now that you're working hard and being ambitious. Forget about everything else and understand that you might or might not get a fruit. Forget everything. Break the whole thing about life not being fair because it is.
"Look at people who're below you and be happy".
Below you would here refer to the people lower in the social strata. Everyone has something missing for whatever they have. Understand that. You're reading this post, you have something to read it on. There are a million other people who don't. Children who don't get proper meals.

You might ask me "Why should I compare myself with the people below me? Why not the great ones?" It is because I want you to stay happy, not absolutely content.

When you see people above you, set them as targets you want to surpass, if you want to and move towards them while working your way up the ranks. If someone is sitting on top and not doing anything, it is because of a reason that they have worked when they were in your place or if you think that it came too easy to them, there must be some problem somewhere. It cannot be perfect. Nothing is perfect. No one is perfect.

"Perfect is as perfect shows."

Change your view and change everything. Life is as you see it, as you perceive it. Try staying positive, try staying alive.

The Startup Syndrome (Internet)

Disclaimer: This article is not to discourage or malign the ongoing internet based companies or startups. It is an opinion.  'Startup' should actually be the word of this decade. Since the start of this millenia we have seen a new buzz in the youth allover, 'Startup'. With companies ready to invest in ideas which might revolutionize the world and get them some good returns. But we've experienced the biggest wave of these after the current decade started. With the success of ongoing startups as inspiration, more and more individuals and group decided to try their hand at starting something of their own.  "Who wants to work under a boss, when you can be your own boss?" this was what I always heard from some budding entrepreneurs. Some are doing it for the drive, some for the passion, some for the adrenaline rush and some are just doing it because they want to discover. Now out of all of these startups a huge majority is inclined towards one ...

Finding Her. (Inspired by the movie Her)

I am in love! I fell in love with the woman who understands me and is just the right one. She knows what I know and what I want her to know, she asks me the right things and knows how I will react to those. She knows when I'm off or excited. She's the one I've been calling each day, the one who's in touch with me, without touching me. She's possessive and yet I have all the space I need. I love her and she loves me, that's kinda all that I need. Who is she? She's my operating system. Yes!Cara, to you is just an operating system, but to me, she's everything! She lives on my system, breathes with me while I go out for runs, schedules my meetings, pays the bills at times, I do it myself as well. She's everywhere. She's on my watch, notifying me that I'm running late, she's on my phone, showing me things I need to go through, things I care about and maybe the most important thing is that she talks to me! Yes! And her voice is music to m...

Four liners - Music and connections

While lsitening to FKJ  on repeat and talking to an old friend (who just boomeranged back into my life), I thought of how I connect with music and feel so fluid in its presence. I don't listen to music for the lyrics most of the times but just for how it makes me feel, I am generally not able to put it to words but the endvevour is to find those words and out them up in bold . While writing this and publishing this atleast 7 times, I realised how crappy the blogger app on mobile is. I am so disappointed. Sigh . Coming back, here are the two small pieces I could get through to. Drowning and gurgling  I want to drown myself in music, Feel the waves it creates inside me, Move myself through its viscous meaning, Only if I could express it as I feel it. This one is a bit special because this comes from a text that I wrote to my friend and went back to myself saying - Damn, I am like the Jawed Akhtar for this shit. Anyway, the next one is derived out...
